On Sunday 29th May we took a squad of 19 swimmers to this meet as a "sharpner" for some of the swimmers prior to their Midland Districts and for other swimmers to get the chance to compete together as a squad.
With a "Top Boy & Girl" trophy on offer for each age Group South Lincs had 3 swimmers pipped into 2nd place before 12 year old Jemma Smith grafted out an overall win. Jemma's four swims contained two 1st a 2nd and a 6th and it was probably the 6th in the Breaststroke that edged her into the Top Girl position - Well done!!
Also worth an additional mention with 4 PB's out of 4 swims were Sammie Earth and Lauren Hook, both these girls showed a really positive attitude to their swims and proved they can perform well over a whole days worth of events.
