| The Tulip Open Meet will be held under ASA Laws and Technical Rules. |
| Age group are 9yrs, 10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs, 13yrs, 14yrs, 15/over |
| Relays and Individual Medley are 12/under and 13/over |
| Age is last day of competition |
| Swimmers must have achieved a Competitive Start Award |
| Over the top starts may be used at the discretion of the Promoters |
| Heats are seeded on submitted times |
| Any competitor not reporting on time may be excluded from the event or final |
| The six fastest swimmers in each event will qualify for the final, a swim off will be held if necessary |
| All finalist will receive a trophy or medal |
| Open 50m Freestyle 12/under and 13/over Individual Medley events and relays are heat declared |
| Six trophies or medals will be awarded in Open 50 free and Individual medley events Relay team events top 3 teams receive awards |
| A trophy will be awarded to top Boy and Girl in each age group in event of a tie in will be a count back on placings in final events |
| Finalist are to report to the learner pool area during the last event for the final |
| Swimmers must dress properly when leaving poolside including foot ware |
| No glass bottles on pool side |
| Promoters have the right to refuse admission to any competitor or spectator |
| Anything not covered within these meet rules will be at the discretion of the Promoters |
| Having entered the Castle Sports Complex Pool, you will have read and understood this information and agreed to abide by current health and safety regulations according to ASA handbook |
| Coaches, Parents are responsible for the conduct of your swimmers at all times |
| A qualified team member should be present on your swimmers lane in warm up. |
| The diving pit will be used as warm up/swim down facility. A coach must be with swimmers when using this facility at all times. The diving pit will be closed if it is used incorrectly. |
